A contract between the customer and Bertie Wooster for the sale of our products will only exist once an order has been accepted, processed and dispatched (at which point the buyer's credit card will be charged for the value of the goods dispatched, plus postage where appropriate), and the goods have been adopted. This does not affect the customer’s statutory rights.
Our goods are provided to customers on the basis that title will not pass until a period of three months has elapsed since the items were dispatched. These terms apply regardless of the method of payment used in relation to the goods. Bertie Wooster's total liability for any claim howsoever arising shall not exceed the value of goods supplied by Bertie Wooster to the customer. Bertie Wooster shall not be liable for any consequential customer loss whether this arises from a breach of duty in contract or in any other way. Bertie Wooster cannot accept any liability for a failure to comply with specific instructions stated in the garment, catalogue, or website. This statement does not affect customers’ statutory rights.
We accept most major credit and debit cards including Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Connect, Solo and American Express.
Each order is for the personal, non-commercial use of our customer. Resale of any product without our express, written consent is strictly prohibited.
Prices and availability of goods are subject to change without notice. This means that the price confirmed after placing the order may be different from that charged at delivery. Every effort is made to ensure that this will not happen - please refer to our returns policy, below. A delivery charge will be added to your order value, please see delivery times and charges.
Goods purchased via this site can be returned to us for a full refund or exchange within 28 days of the date of purchase, provided a proof of purchase is provided and the goods are returned in their original condition. We are unable to accept returns or exchanges for goods which have been altered or adjusted to fit in any way.
Goods are returned at your own expense and the post and packaging charge from your order will not be refunded.
Every effort is made on this site to ensure that shopping online is safe and secure, but we cannot be responsible for fraudulent use of a lost credit card if this has not been reported to your credit card company.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and any disputes will be decided only by the Courts of England and Wales.
